Once purchased, your friend or loved one will receive an e-mail with their 'gift certificate code'. They can then use this code during the checkout process to pay for their order. They don't have to spend it all in one go or alternatively if they wish to spend more, they can use their Gift Certificate as part payment and pay the balance themselves.
